Pay £35 - £40 per hour (depending upon experience)
Details:
Young person attends a Farm 4 days per week. (Meanwood Valley) Mon – Thurs - 9am – 2.30pm.
The young person has been attending this farm since the age of 8 years. The student is working towards a level 1 and will move on to a level 2 soon. The teacher must plan, teach and collate this portfolio-based qualification on the farm.
Education needs to be delivered practically and have direct links to real life.
Maths and English also need to be woven into these practical tasks and the student has just embarked on 2 further portfolio qualifications in the Maths and English (as well as the one mentioned above).
Fridays – Teacher works with young person at home doing PSHE curriculum and cooking in the morning and after lunch will supervise 2 online courses.  – Leeds, Pudsey 9am – 3pm
Personal, social, health and economic education is a school curriculum subject in England that focuses on strengthening the knowledge, skills, and connections to keep children and young people healthy and safe and prepare them for life and work
The cooking course is book led and recording information.
Ability to manage portfolio
Experience working with children with speech and language difficulties and complex needs.
Eye for detail
Experience required:

  • Qualified Teacher with Speech and Language experience
  • Worked with complex needs
  • Ability to Lead a full curriculum
  • Deal with Bespoke curriculum
  • Deliver English, Maths and Occupational studies
  • Familiar with paperwork and organised
